He got into his "new student" routine and it went fairly well. I've had enough music lessons over the years to recognize it and no matter their hairstyle or body art display, it's all music in the end. I play piano and clarinet and I dabbled with the harmonica a few years back so lots of lessons have been had.
My only complaint is that he answered his cell phone durning our half hour lesson which caused us to run over a bit. That was the night the Phillies lost to the Yankees and since we're in the Philadelphia area it's a big deal. I'll give him that one, because he had gigs planned out for later in the week depending on whether they won or lost. So yeah, his livelihood and all I can understand. We'll see how it goes. They have the students pay one month at a time so I figure I'll know in a few weeks. Tons of fun though. I plunked around with my lesson for 45 minutes last night.
