Stress dreams

The movie War of the Worlds really freaked me out. I don't like horror and scary movies, so yes, I'm a wimp in that way. Still, the scene where they're hiding from the probe thingy just gives me the woolies big time. So, what do I dream about (in addition to a few other oldies but goodies) when I get stressed out now? Yeppers, hiding in the basement from the Martians. Last nights twist was having to hide in there with a bunch of little kids and try to keep them quite too. Which of course, in my dream state I know is impossible going in.
The quick and dirty interpretation is that since we have many key people out all at the same time this week at work, I'm trying to control situations (people) that can't or won't be controlled. It goes without saying that the people in question are acting like children. And the shit is gonna hit the fan eventually because, just like my dream-self, I know this for a fact and there's nothing I can do about it. Unfortunately, there's no waking up and realizing all the unpleasantness at work is just a dream. Ugh!
