I'm such a good mommy

Last year at Thanksgiving, I brought my Slings and Arrows season 1 with me when I visited my daughter in FLA. She loves all things Shakespeare and is a bit on the wacky side, rather like her mother. The wacky part anyway. Turns out she loved it and for Christmas, I sent her Seasons 1 and 2. Quote from my daughter, "He really is a very good actor". Heh little did she know what I had planned for her next visit here in PA.

She arrived on Saturday morning and we did some mom/daughter catching up and fun stuff like that, saving the intense bonding with PG and CKR for later in the afternoon. That all started because I told her I had season 3 of S&A, but turns out I had lent it to my daughter-in-law. So, we watched the pilot from Due South instead.

Another quote from my daughter, "Wow, he's really hot!" OH yeah. So I explained the show a bit and then put in Mounty on the Bounty. "Ooo, who's the other cutie?" or words to that effect. So, I loaded her up with all the PG/CRK I had available and told her I'd get her the S&A soon.

All in all we had a great weekend. I miss her terribly and really had a great time catching up and just hanging out. And, I've added a new member to the PG and CRK universe. My work here is done.

Ah the joys of pimping pretty boys to enthusiastic newcomers. There's nothing better, except when it also allows for some mother/daughter bonding *g*

I warned her that the show show got extremely silly at times but she laughed right along with me at those parts. She is so my daughter. I can't get daughter number 2 interested at all. I do have to say that one of my dogs loves the show as well. He perks right up whenever Dief is on the screen.
