All things point to Vin Diesel

aka A Silly Post Because I'm Not Ready To Go Back To Work Yet
I'd never seen a movie with Vin Diesel in it before this March, or whenever The Fast And The Furious 4 came out. But, to make my therapist happy (see already going off into the strange) I promised I'd start getting out to either the mall or a movie or something every weekend and not stay holed up in the house. Anyway, I'm a firm believer that you can't just jump in to a series of movies, so I got the first ones from Netflix and caught myself up. The slash potential just screamed at me and I went in search of fic based on the movies. Man-o-man, the internet is such a wonderful thing.
This of course lead me to Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick. Which of course has Karl Urban in it (see where this is going?). And of course that lead me to
creedfic and all the lovely, slashy stories she has there. Good stuff, just yum!
Then the new Star Trek movie came out. I've loved Bones for many, many years but let me tell you, Karl Urban is just too fantastic for words. And I've only seen the movie 3 times, but it's still around so there's hope to get in another viewing before the dvd comes out. Soon I hope.
Anyway, Karl Urban lead me to Doom. I've never played the game probably because when it came out I had a crap computer and my daughter hogged all the game consuls (she bought them but never shared, big game hogger). And of course The Rock is in that one. Another lovely, hunky mountain of a man, who reminds me of Vin Diesel and brings me full circle.
So I had one of THOSE dreams last night. Don't you just hate/love them. And then I woke up. Thirty minutes before the blasted alarm.
Ain't life grand?
