I am SO ready...
...for season 5 of Supernatural. I know riverfoxwas worried about if I could cram all those episodes of season 4 into one long weekend of viewing, but I'm here today to reassure her, I did it. Along with almost finishing that shawl I'm knitting. So I can claim I was productive over the weekend and didn't just sit like a lump and watch tv.
Anyway, my point here today is that I'm not sure I liked season 4. Yes, Castiel is a hotty as promised, and I think I can sense a wee bit of chemistry between him and Dean, but grrr! He's Sammy's. I guess this is a case of not being able to let go of my OTP and be open to other possibilities. I've hunting down Dean/Castiel fic to try to get a better feel for them together-ish, but, grrr! He's Sammy's. So any Dean/Castiel rec anyone out there might throw my way would be greatly appreciated!
Another thing, YAY they killed off Ruby! Happy day. First, I liked the actress from last season better. Don't know her name but I just felt she actually "acted" better. This year's Ruby just left me flat. Even that hot sex scene with Sam just didn't have the emotional snap needed. I'm mean, she really was sort of whiny. And yeah, yanno, Sammy belongs to Dean.
So, I'm dieing to see how they write themselvs out of this one, Joan Wilder! They did kill Ruby together, so Sam may not be completely dark side yet. But then, where would the angst be if Dean doesn't have to save him from Lucifer, or whatever. And whatever happened with Castiel? I'll have to go back and watch that last episode just to be sure I have all the facts straight.
