I Think I Missed The Point

My SWTOR Imperial Agent Operative finished his class storyline last night.

Let's start with Hunter because, oooh baby!  Hunter had me going from the first.  I just never imagined that Hunter would be a female.  But it was a great surprise!  My guy got to kiss her and they had a brief h/c moment which wouldn't have happened otherwise.  I don't think.  I mean, they haven't put in the s/s relationships yet, so it really had me going there for a while.  Hunter and Zechs really had some serious chemistry even though they were trying to kill each other for the last two levels or so.  So that was pretty ok in my book.

I guess my confused-ness comes from a feeling of, is that all there is?  My guy wiped all trace of his existence with the Black Codex and then goes off to serve the Empire whenever they need him?  This is the part I'm having trouble with.  He is neutral all the way.  I mean, he has like 4750 light and 4600 dark points in total.  And the interesting this about this is, I didn't notice he was neutral until about level 30.  So he has done lots of really, really eeevil things in his career.  Actually most of the major plot points along the way were dark side with the lesser points going into light to keep things balanced once I noticed the trend.

There was no major battle at the end other than Hunter.  I felt that getting past the elite droids was harder than actually defeating Hunter.  And it's because I have uber skillz or anything.  I just sicced SCORPIO on Hunter and sat back and healed.  I watched this video and have to say, the vidder's conversation choices and mine were almost exactly the same.  And we both flew off into the black at the end.  I am still sort of left with the feeling that I have missed the point.

Maybe it's because I chose to stay neutral.  I mean, where did Darth Jadus go?  He just said, see yez, I'm off to Tahiti to check out the babes, you're on your on now.  Also, there was no show down with the Minister of Intelligent, or whatever the old, bald dude's title is.  We never got along anyway because my guy was always a sarcastic bastard whenever they talked.

It's possible this story line may be closer to the early Mara Jade before the Thrawn series happened.  I just finished reading Choices of One and I felt that she had that "I'm only accountable to the Emperor, you can't tell me what to do, but I do have a conscience so I'll sort of have a purpose" thing going on.

It's obvious that I'm going to have to make two more Imperial Agents.  One light side and the other dark, so I see and compare the differences.

And then there's SCORPIO.  OMG!  That's turning out to be an interesting little twist.

Oh boo. Oh well. Sooner or later male agent will get to max level and I can record it all for posterity. (Or whatever.) And then I will know exactly how it works out between him and the foe that I am something like 100% certain he will fall madly in love with.

My male (and female) agent is pretty much the same. If he can flirt with her, he does his best. (Which tends to be a disaster.) The only exception so far is Kaliyo, as I want a chance with Watcher 2. (So he may or may not end up eventually with Kaliyo. Not sure if she'll like me ignoring her for so long.) It kind of comes off as him being scared of Kaliyo and just desperate for everyone else to like him, which is hilarious, but makes for a rather entertaining character.

Hunter and C9 totally are soul mates. I'm sure my female agent is still in mourning (although, honestly, having Hunter around probably only riled her up and made her more crazy). Oh well. I still highly suspect she dragged the body back on board the ship and keeps pestering Lokin to fix her enemy, because she is insane. (Although not as crazy as your agent's weird relationship with SCORPIO. That is totally going to get your agent killed. Just saying.)

You should totally put in a ticket for the chuckle. I can't believe they took that from operatives. WTF? That was so freaking awesome and I want a chuckle, too. :( Why do they hate ops? Why?

Ah, you're doing so much better at leveling than I am. But, yeah, there are a lot of servers that need merging. (Although I find the daughter thing hilarious. Oh well...whatever it takes, right? I did convince my mom to play, although need to start leveling with her again.)

There are moments when I'm like, "I wish I didn't have to work..." but then I'm like, "no, no, bad idea! Need to cut back on the games, not play more!" But...I want more toons. :(
