Lol! Thanks. I'm starting to feel the need for more (different) yarn. I'll have to remember to take a picture of the copier-paper box full of yarn I have now.
Your costumes have inspired me and I realized I need to get those needles busy or I'm never gonna be able to use this thing come winter.
Awww...thanks. ;) (Although I still need to post about them. Some day!) But, yeah, it's always nice to get things done by a deadline. (Although costumes are faster than knitting!)
I have to confess, I really wanted to make this sweet spot afghan instead. http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall09/PATTsweetspot.php But when I started swatching, it became apparent I had bought yarn that was not ever going to make those beautiful, swirly designs no matter how many adjustments I made. So I searched for something else to do with all that sock yarn I had purchased.
I'm not sure how I found this site but I'm glad I did.

I am using leftover yarn in addition to what I had purchased for the other afghan. Whenever I see something interesting that I know I don't have, I'll buy one of those too.

Sorry I suck at all the fancy coding.
