Pardon the poor photography.  I'm a knitter, not a shutter bug.

You WILL let me help!

Not on the lace!!

My blocking skills leave much to be desired.  I"m working on it though.

The recipient on her birthday.

This was a fun and fast knit.  I would make it again except I would make it with more lace row repeats.  My daughter is on the petite side, so this worked well.  But for a bigger woman, it needs to be longer, IMO.

Thank you kindly. I'm on a serious lace roll now. I keep seeing all these lovely things to make and I know there just isn't enough time.

I know how it goes. I have a huge fabric stash to get through and keep saying, "Someday".

I have a bit of a catch 22 going on. I don't like dipping into my stash when I start new projects, so I buy new. Plus whatever else catches my eye which causes the stash to grow. I tell my kids it's my part of my retirement plan.

Yeah, I do the same thing. Or I use a bit of the stash, but need other stuff to complete the project and...same effect. *sigh* Someday. Someday...

Thank you. Since it was for my daughter who only wears black, I had to be careful about the color. I don't think black would have let the pattern show as well. But she liked it, so all is well.

Thanks. The pattern was very easy to follow. Possibly because it had written directions as well as a chart. Charts and I don't get along very well for some reason. It was one of those $1.99 downloads from Knitpicks. That site is very addictive, hee he.
