Quiz again

Ok, considering that high school was a million years ago and that although I was forced into taking math by my father, I guess I did ok. Who can remember that stuff 30 years later any way. Sheese! Dumb quiz.

You paid attention during 69% of high school!

68-84% Pretty good, you know that there are libraries and newspapers, and you remember what you've read. You were a child that wasn't left behind!

Do you deserve your high school diploma?

That's the area for a right triangle right? My father would have a fit if he knew I can't remember that formula. He MADE me take math all four years of high school, but I don't remember any of that stuff now.

Oh well. So what did you finally make for dinner last Friday night? Geeze, its been a whole week already. I've been busy busy busy and next week have an audit. Fun will be had by all.

Talk to ya later!

Well, since its Monday morning, I'm sure you solved the "what's for dinner on Friday" problem. And everything you mentions sounds so yummy. I just feel the pounds being absorbed through the internet connection, hee he.

I, in a fit of domestic frenzy, made porcupine balls. Its not classy, and certainly sounds so very strange but stuff like that lasts me the whole week. My daughter refuses to eat what I cook, so I cook what I like.

Anyway, they are basically meatballs using rice instead of breadcrumbs. Then you cook them in a tomatoe sauce. Actually, I hate cooking for myself. So when I do, I make something that I get many meals out of.

Do you cook like that for yourself as well? Or just you employer? I always wondered what professional chefs did.

Anyway, sorry to hear about you car. I wouldn't know what to do if anything happened to mine. I'm a suburban girl born and raised so public transportation just isn't an option for so many reasons.

Well, time to get to work. I have an auditor coming in for the week and have to get ready for that. Have a great day!

Wow! You had a pretty bad accident then. Its just so scary. I had a little fender bender back in July and still have dreams about cars crashing into me on the drivers side. I was making a left turn and the kid who was stopped at the stop sign decided he'd waited long enough and just plowed into my driver's side door. I saw the car coming and couldn't do anything about it. Just hung on. But it was all low speed stuff so there wasn't any damage to speak of.

Just be careful not to burn yourself out. Ten hour days are not good. Especially if you are doing them on a regular basis. I try to explain this to my son also, but he doesn't listen. Enjoy life while you're young.

Have a great day!

I found myself cringing as I read about your accident. Obviously, somebody put out the fire. Ugh.

Subject change. I can't remember if we talked about this but are you into anime at all? I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist right now. I had sort of steered away from anime for a time but am really glad I started FMA. Good stuff for sure.

And, I'm going on vacation next week! Woohoo!!! I haven't gone anywhere just for me in so long. Well, this may not qualify as that since I'm going to visit my oldest daughter in Florida.

Have a great day!

Can't wait to get on that plane. Monday can't come soon enough. And my daughter is excited too. She lives right on Dayton Beach, so I figured when she's at work I'll walk the beach. Maybe get a bit of a tan, hee he.

I was heavily into yaoi for a while. I started out saying, I just was NOT going to read any fanfics like that at first. Not, no way, never, ugh. Oh man, never say never.

Then I started watching Gundam Wing. And it seemed all the stories out there, or most, were yaoi in nature. Which is just as well, cause I really don't like the female characters in most anime. The exception being Hellsing, cause that's just one of the best ever.

Anyway...I stumbled upon a massive, wip that goes on today written by Pyrzm called Broken Warriors. Its over 104 chapters long and takes up where The Last Waltz leaves off, sort of. It is a really deep story and just goes off into each of the characters lives and their hurts etc, just can't describe it well as it gets very emotional at time in addition to being very sexy. And from there I went looking for more.

Recently, like as of last year, I descovered slash. I wasn't sure what the difference was and still it seems to blurr a bit. At first I figured slash was just "English" yaoi. But there's definately a difference. So I started reading The Sentinel stories and Due South, the list is ever growing. And I went through that same, not gonna, can't make me read it thing again. I guess it was one thing to read about "imaginary" drawn characters in that way but another with live humans. But, a few good authors kicked that little idea right out of my head.

And then...I found original yaoi/slash/whatever. Oooo goodie, goodie. A favorite has been Juxtapose City, which yes, I PAY for, like any good crack. Sheese. And I have browsed around to sample other stuff as well. I actually find myself reading more things from the internet that books that I buy in the store.

Man, this turned into a monster reply. Sorry to have bored you, but ya just caught me in a chatty moment.

Have a great weekend and hope you get to partake in a Thanksgiving Day feast somewhere, and not have to prepare it for work.

Talk to ya later!

Big time correction. Endless Waltz not Last waltz or whatever I wrote. Sheese, you'd think I'd get it right at least once. But then, there are times when my kids need name tags so I can keep the three of them straight namewise, too. Its so annoying to be really mad at one of them and have to run down the list until I get to the right name to yell. So its really not my fault.

I'm getting antsy about the trip. I know I'll be fine once I'm in the airport cause at that point its almost a done deal. I just worry about not getting to the airport on time and missing my flight. Or have something go wrong with the tickets. Stuff like that. The actual flying part is nerve wracking at times, but generally ok. I figure at that point, there's little I can do except hold on and "enjoy" the ride.

And you're preaching to the choir about the handwriting thing. I hate to write stuff out long hand and have terrible writing as well. If I can't type it, it just won't get done.

To answer your question, it did bother me at first. But I hadn't read any fanfic at that point. I alway thought I'd had an open mine, but reading some of the stories that are out there has been thought provoking. In my opinion, people write what they know. I think alot of people use this as an outlet for life and the more I read about the different woes that befall humans in general, the more I believe that's true. And of course here I'm talking about stories with actual plot and debth with sex thrown in as an added bonus.

And the more I read and thought about what I'd read I came to the realization that, as a "straight" woman, I find the thought of two guys together to be just plain hot. I guess for the same reasons that "straight" men like to see two women together. From there, my twisted little mind has decided that its all just sex anyway, which is human nature and whatever feels good is what you're gonna go with. Guess in some circles I'm headed "straight" to hell. They're loss, right?

Well, I'll get down off my soap box now. Have laundry to do and I really should get the grass cut one more time before winter, but I just really don't feel like doing it.

Have a great week if I don't talk to you for a while.

See ya.

Hiya! And happy be-lated Turkey day!

My trip went fairly well. I got to the airports on time but we wound up sitting on the planes for 30 extra minutes each way. I think its just the Philadelphia air port. It seems as if all the flights connected here run late.

Anyway, it was COLD when I got to Florida. Orlando made the news my first night there because it snowed. So, there was NO tanning. But towards the end of the week it warmed up nicely and we did lots of tourist type things.

My daughter appears to be doing ok there. I'm not sure I like the "roommate". He seems a little immature and selfish to me, but hey, I'm just the potential mother-in-law so what do I know, right? She seems happy and has a thick skin, so I know she won't take too much before giving some back.

The daughter left back here at home has a LARGE lecture coming to here. On the plus side, it appears to have been a fun party for all. But, the house didn't burn to the ground and nothing appears to be broken. Argh. See, I did the responsible thing at her age. I had already moved out so I spared my father the gorey details of all the wild parties. Oh well. I think I'm just tired so maybe the lecture should wait until tomorrow after I've rested a bit.

Speaking only for myself, I happen to love over cooked turkey. I have a feeling alot of folks do too, even if they don't admit to it. And on the plus side, you can smother it in gravey and no one is the wiser. Hee he, now you've ruined my image of you as the world's best chef. Tee hee!

Hope things stay nice for you with the pregnant Chinese woman. Any pregnant woman can be a challenge so, good luck there! Hope she has a healthy baby and easy birth.

As far as the party goes, my daughter was very up front with it. She told me she was going to have people over. I told her to have them out by mid-night so the nosey neighbors didn't call the cops.

And, now I'm at work facing a mountain of paper and a line outside my door for questions. Well, not really a line, but my A/P assistant already wanted to dig in with some issue or another. I'm not taking any additional requests til I wade through what's already in front of me. The other stuff can wait

Have a happy Tuesday!
