Thoughts on Star Trek Online

I love this game. Sometimes the ground missions graphics are a little stiff. But the space scenes are incredible! Sometimes some of the missions seem a little repetitious, but it's addictive. I also like the auto grouping on some of the missions. I'm not so social a player so warping into a premade group sometimes is a nice change. I also like that you can log out of the game before you finish a mission and have the option to "continue" when you're ready to play again. Good stuff all around and I'm certain things will only improve from here.
However, sometimes it's frustrating. IMO, they should not have been surprised by the flood of people trying to play. People have wanted something new for a while and this is it. I know I have been getting a wee bit tired of WoW not that I plan to cancel my subscription there. But please, Cryptic, get the login server queue issue resolved. And the overall server stability. Yes, yes. The official launch isn't until February 2, but hopefully by this overwhelming turn out so far, they have an idea of what to expect on Tuesday. Ugh.
