I haven't posted in forever, it seems. Actually, I haven't been on LJ in a while. I think I relied on the Crack Van more than I thought to give me a broad look at what's being written, fandomwise.
Anyhoo...Life is going on. There have been weddings, births (my son has 5 kids now. FIVE!) Job angst, knitting and of course gaming. I'm back to SWTOR in a major way, which I tend to do. The problem with such long stretches between playing is I tend to forget some of the more difficult classes, such as my Sith Assassin. And I still haven't gotten anyone to max level or done much on Makeb. Oh well.
Also on the gaming, Star Wars front, I bought a used, first gen Xbox on Amazon and have started KOTOR. Holy moly! Why don't they freshen that game up a bit and give it a re-release! I'd buy a new Xbox console just to play that one, really I would. what's wrong with these folks anyway. I know, Disney. Grrrr.
And on the knitting front, I've discovered beads. Yes, those fiddly and fantastic sight destroying wee glass beads. I worked up a quick Annis using beads in place of the nupps. Now I have two more shawls planned and every pattern I look at I try to think out the best way to add beads. Lots of fun.
And the rest is just life going along doing its thing.
